Learn to use the Every Child Ready Foundational Checklists to observe and support high-quality instruction. In this course, you will:

  • Understand the purpose and organization of the Foundational Checklists
  • Identify attributes of high-quality instruction in Every Child Ready classrooms
  • Practice scoring Foundational Checklist attributes
  • Use observations to plan and deliver rich, meaningful instruction

2. Environmental Quality Scale

Gain strategies for assessing and enhancing classroom environments that support playful, meaningful learning. In this course, you will:

  • Understand the importance of fostering high-quality, play-based classroom environments
  • Explore the purpose of the Environmental Quality Scale and Centers Checklist
  • Practice using the scale to identify indicators of high-quality pre-K classrooms
  • Learn how to use feedback to continuously improve classroom practices
