Social Studies Standards (On-Demand)

Social Studies standards anchor lesson target objectives during Every Child Ready whole group, small group, and Centers components. In this course, you will: 

1. Learn the purpose of the Every Child Ready Social Studies standards
2. Identify instructional strategies to foster children’s understanding of social studies concepts using Every Child Ready curriculum and resources
3. Apply your knowledge of Every Child Ready Social Studies standards by planning meaningful and integrated social studies learning opportunities
4. Understand the importance of representing children’s familial, cultural, social, and linguistic backgrounds in the classroom environment
