Course Description
Explore the purpose of the Every Child Ready Read Aloud component and how repeated readings support children’s learning. Participants will examine how different types of books support different reading purposes and apply their learning by planning a Read Aloud lesson.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Learn the purpose of the Read Aloud component.
- Learn how children benefit from repeated reading of the same books.
- Discover how different types of books lead to reading for different purposes.
- Plan for a Read Aloud lesson.
Completion Requirements
To earn 0.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), participants must:
- Complete the asynchronous training course.
- Complete the course post-test with a score of 75% or higher.
