Course Description
Explore the purpose of the Every Child Ready Phonological Awareness and Alphabet Knowledge standards and instructional strategies that support children’s literacy development. Participants will use the standards, curriculum, and resources to plan flexible, differentiated instruction that addresses children’s diverse learning needs.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Learn the purpose of the Every Child Ready Phonological Awareness and Alphabet Knowledge standards.
- Identify instructional strategies to foster children’s literacy development using Every Child Ready curriculum and resources.
- Apply your knowledge of the standards to plan flexible and differentiated instruction to meet children’s diverse learning needs.
Completion Requirements
To earn 0.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), participants must:
- Complete the asynchronous training course.
- Complete the course post-test with a score of 75% or higher.
