Narrative Comprehension Standards (On-Demand)

Every Child Ready (ECR) Narrative Comprehension Standards support children’s engagement with narrative and informational texts through book-based learning opportunities. In this course, you will: 

1. Learn the purpose of the Every Child Ready Narrative Comprehension standards,
2. Identify instructional strategies to support children’s engagement with narrative and informational texts using the Every Child Ready curriculum, and
3. Apply your knowledge of Every Child Ready Narrative Comprehension standards by planning learning opportunities that foster children’s understanding of narrative and informational texts.
