Journaling (On-Demand)

During the Every Child Ready Journaling component, children express their ideas through writing and drawing. In this course, you will: 

1. 1. Learn the purpose of the Journaling component, 
   2. Explore what comprises Journaling lessons.
   3. Learn best practices for planning and implementing the Journaling component.
   4. Analyze instructional practices in Journaling lessons.
   5. Apply children’s stages of writing development to appropriately differentiate Journaling instruction in the classroom.

To enroll in a course, you must be logged into your AppleTree Canvas account using your campus email. If you forgot your password you can click “Forgot Password?” on the login screen. 

If you do not have an AppleTree Canvas account, you can contact ECR Support or your ECR representative to request an AppleTree Canvas account. 

AppleTree Institute is an authorized provider of the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) as well as many state-run Professional Development (PD) registries. Practitioners can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and/or PD hours that can often go towards teaching certification renewals and other accreditation upon meeting the requirements for completing a course.
