Course Description
Explore the purpose and structure of the Every Child Ready Journaling component and best practices for planning and implementing Journaling lessons. Participants will analyze instructional practices and use children’s stages of writing development to differentiate Journaling instruction appropriately.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Learn the purpose of the Journaling component.
- Explore what comprises Journaling lessons.
- Learn best practices for planning and implementing the Journaling component.
- Analyze instructional practices in Journaling lessons.
- Apply children’s stages of writing development to appropriately differentiate Journaling instruction in the classroom.
Completion Requirements
To earn 0.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), participants must:
- Complete the asynchronous training course.
- Complete the course post-test with a score of 75% or higher.
