Course Description
Explore the Helpful Hearts framework, instructional strategies, and best practices for supporting well-being in prekindergarten classroom communities throughout the Every Child Ready school day. Participants will examine Helpful Hearts lessons and resources and use the Helpful Heart Action Plan to plan ways to teach, reinforce, and respond to children’s behaviors.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Examine the Helpful Hearts framework, instructional strategies, and best practices to foster well-being in prekindergarten classroom communities throughout the ECR school day.
- Identify and reflect on classroom lessons and resources included in the Every Child Ready Helpful Hearts curriculum.
- Formulate instructional and planning strategies to teach, reinforce, and respond to children’s behaviors in the classroom using the Helpful Heart Action Plan.
Completion Requirements
To earn a certificate of completion, participants must attend the live training.
