Helpful Hearts is the social-emotional program for the Every Child Ready curriculum. Its purpose is to support equitable, culturally responsive, safe, and joyful classroom communities. In this course, you will: 

    1. Examine the Helpful Hearts framework, instructional strategies, and best practices to foster well-being in prekindergarten classroom communities throughout the ECR school day,
    2. Identify and reflect on classroom lessons and resources included in the Every Child Ready Helpful Hearts curriculum, and
    3. Formulate instructional and planning strategies to teach, reinforce, and respond to children’s behaviors in the classroom using the Helpful Heart Action Plan.
