ECR Curriculum Overview (On-Demand)

The Every Child Ready Curriculum fosters playful, thematic learning. High-quality children’s literature anchor Every Child Ready thematic units and lessons. As a result, the curriculum supports children’s understanding of new concepts and vocabulary. It also helps children to make learning connections to the world around them. In this course, you will: 

1. 1. Explore the integration of thematic learning through the Every Child Ready day,
   2. Learn the foundational aspects of the Every Child Ready curriculum, including the thematic units, daily schedule, components,
   3. Reflect on ways to make children’s learning relevant to their own lived experiences through play, and
   4. Plan integrated thematic learning experiences using Every Child Ready lessons and resources.

To enroll in a course, you must be logged into your AppleTree Canvas account using your campus email. If you forgot your password you can click “Forgot Password?” on the login screen. 

If you do not have an AppleTree Canvas account, you can contact ECR Support or your ECR representative to request an AppleTree Canvas account. 

AppleTree Institute is an authorized provider of the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) as well as many state-run Professional Development (PD) registries. Practitioners can earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and/or PD hours that can often go towards teaching certification renewals and other accreditation upon meeting the requirements for completing a course.
