Centers (Summer Institute 2025)

Discover how play supports learning in a well-planned Centers environment. In this training, you'll explore the value of play-based learning, identify key elements of Every Child Ready Centers, and plan for effective facilitation and classroom management during Center time.

In this training, you will…

• Develop an understanding of why learning through play is valuable.
• Identify the elements of a play-based Centers environment.
• Explore best practices for preparing and facilitating Every Child Ready Centers.
• Apply the component and best practice attributes to a sample Centers lesson.
• Create a plan for Centers management.
