Community Agreements and Classroom Expectations (Live)

Course Description

Explore how community agreements, classroom expectations, and daily routines work together to create a positive classroom community. Participants will develop meaningful community agreements, establish clear and positively stated expectations, and plan routines that reinforce them throughout the day.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the connection between community agreements, classroom expectations, and daily routines.
• Identify 3–4 community agreements that reflect the classroom community you want to build.
• Develop clear, positively stated classroom expectations connected to those agreements.
• Plan routines that align with community agreements and classroom expectations.

Completion Requirements

To earn 0.1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), participants must:

• Attend the full 1-hour live training.
• Complete the course post-test with a score of 75% or higher.

Scheduling Live Training

Directors may schedule live training with their Every Child Ready coach or point of contact, based on availability. Campuses without an Every Child Ready coach may purchase live training at an hourly rate. To learn more or request a training for your campus, please contact ECR Support.

AppleTree Institute is an authorized provider with the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and several state-run Professional Development (PD) registries. Practitioners may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and/or PD hours, which can often be applied toward teaching certification renewals and other professional accreditations upon successful completion of course requirements.
