Course Description

Explore the purpose of the Every Child Ready Language Comprehension standards and instructional strategies that support children’s language development. Participants will use the standards, curriculum, and resources to plan flexible, differentiated instruction that addresses children’s diverse learning needs in the prekindergarten classroom.

 

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Learn the purpose of the Every Child Ready Language Comprehension standards.
  • Identify instructional strategies to foster language development using Every Child Ready curriculum and resources.
  • Apply your knowledge of Every Child Ready Language Comprehension standards to plan flexible and differentiated instruction to meet children’s diverse learning needs in the prekindergarten classroom.

 

Completion Requirements

To earn 0.1 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), participants must:

  • Attend the full 1-hour live training.
  • Complete the course post-test with a score of 75% or higher.

 

Scheduling Live Training

Directors may schedule live training with their Every Child Ready coach or point of contact, based on availability. Campuses without an Every Child Ready coach may purchase live training at an hourly rate. To learn more or request a training for your campus, please contact ECR Support.

Practitioners may earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and/or PD hours, which can often be applied toward teaching certification renewals and other professional accreditations upon successful completion of course requirements.
