Child-Led Learning: Choice, Voice, and Connection (Summer Institute 2025)

Nurture curiosity and confidence by following a child’s lead! In this training, you’ll explore the value of child-led learning in early childhood, discover strategies to support choice, expression, and leadership, and plan for meaningful opportunities to center children’s voices throughout the prekindergarten day.

• Develop a clear understanding of the value of following a child’s lead in early childhood instruction. 
• Identify strategies to support child choice, expression, and leadership. 
• Incorporate these teaching strategies by planning for opportunities in a prekindergarten day
