Kickoff to Success: Routines that Win the Day! (DCSI25)

Create a calm, predictable classroom with strong routines! In this training, you’ll explore how effective routines support behavior and well-being, dive into the Helpful Hearts framework, and learn how to teach, reinforce, and respond to routines with intention. You’ll also get hands-on practice using ECR resources to plan routines that meet children’s need for structure and consistency.

In this training, you will…

• Understand the impact of effective routines on behavior and well-being
• Identify/Review the three components of the Helpful Hearts framework: Teaching, Reinforcing, and Responding, for teaching routines 
• Access and intentionally leverage Every Child Ready Helpful Hearts resources to plan and implement classroom routines effectively
• Plan and practice teaching routines that support children’s need for classroom structure and predictability
