Learn how to plan and implement Flexible Small Groups that meet every child’s learning needs! In this course, you’ll explore how to use ongoing assessment data to form and adjust groups, analyze progress, and plan next steps that move children along the learning progressions. By the end, you’ll apply your learning by intentionally planning next week’s small group instruction using targeted, data-informed strategies.
By the end of this session, you’ll:
- Understand the purpose of Flexible Small Groups.
- Learn how to make and adjust small groups based on data.
- Analyze existing data and make changes as needed to move children along the progressions of learning.
- Follow next steps to intentionally plan for Flexible Small Groups for the following week.
